Get videos from the Internet or anywhere onto your PSP

The Sony PlayStation Portable (Sony PSP) has become one of the most popular handheld consoles all over the world, it is renowned for its large viewing screen and multi-media capabilities. No matter that types of movies you are interested in, it is easy to enjoy them in your PSP. To transfer or videos from the Internet, PC or anywhere to the PSP, you can make use of A4Desk Video Converter and convert the files into MP4 format.

To download video

Download videos on your desktop, or put video files to the PC from your CD, mobile, etc. There are various kinds of third party downloaders in the market to download videos from YouTube, mySpace, Rapidshare, and lots more.

Convert video files using video converter

1. Download A4Desk Video Converter from its official site.
   
   
2. Run the software, click the icon "New project" to create a new project.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click button to insert your list of video files where you want to do the video conversion. Select the output format (MP4) and output folder.Users are also able to trim the video by setting the start and end time. Click to continue.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Choose output codec, quality, dimension for the video file. You can crop away the portions that you don't need, and add borders using crop and pad option. Check 'enable' and click to insert your own logo for copyright protection. Click to continue.
   
   
   Note: Sony PSP can't play MPEG-4 video encoded with bit rate higher than 768kbps, you can convert video file to a lower bit rate in Quality section.
   
   
   
   
   
5. Select audio channels, bit/sample rate(higher rate->higher quality), audio encoder (audio output format). Click to continue.
   
   
   
   
   
6. Click to save the project and to start converting the video clips.
   
   
   
   
   
7. Video conversion is now in process.
   
   
   
   
   
8. Video conversion is done, you can click ' to browse the converted video files.
   
   
   
   
   

Put Video Files into your PSP

Connect your Sony PSP to your computer.

Once the Memory Stick shows up on your computer, make a new folder from the root directory known as MP_ROOT.

Create another folder called 101MNV01 or 100MNV01 inside MP_ROOT folder.

Put the video files into either /MP_ROOT/100MNV01/ or /MP_ROOT/ 101MNV01/.

Disconnect your Sony PSP from your computer.
